ON FRIDAY NIGHT THE #12 PROSPER EAGLES DEFEATED THE #9 KENNEDALE WILDCATS AT SOUTHLAKE CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL. THE VICTORY MAKES THE EAGLES DISTRICT CHAMPIONS, BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONS, AND AREA CHAMPIONS. THE EAGLES WILL NOW TAKE ON THE #1 TEAM IN STATE DALLAS MADISON FOR THE REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL CHAMPIONSHIP AS WELL AS A TRIP TO THE REGIONAL TOURNAMENT.
With a record of 10-0, the Eagles finished perfect is disctirct 9-3A. The #12 ranked Eagles beat cross town rivals Celnia 86-49 to finish with a perfect district record, and a amazing 32-2 overall record.
The Eagles improved to 9-0 by beating Argyle 76-66 @ Argyle and claimed District 9-3A title for 2010.
